Individual Groz-Beckert barbed needles for needle felting. Needle felting is a technique used to turn fluffy, loose fibre into felt. Repeated passing of a felting needle through loose fibers tangles and compacts the fibres, shrinking the mass gradually until the fibres remain packed together – which is felt.

The reverse needle allows you to pulls tufts of fibre out of your felted piece. This is great for adding textured effects to or pulling inner colours out of your felted pieces. The reverse needle is also an invaluable tool for wet felting, allowing you to pull fibre to adhere new additions to.

Can be used on their own or used as replacements for multi-needle pens.

A handle, needle holder makes needle felting easier, faster and more comfortable, making it a valuable tool for serious needle felting hobbyists and crafters. The ergonomic wooden handle ensures comfortable long-term use, reducing hand fatigue.  Protect your fingers from unintentional pricks, as the needles are held safely and securely in the holder.

Carding and combing are pre-treatments in which the hairs or fibers come to lie in the same direction. This makes it easier to felt or spin the material. When combing, the hair is stretched more than when carding. This difference determines the character of a spun thread: worsted or ironed yarn.

Louët hand cards are made of a very light and strong type of wood, from which, for example, piano keys are also made. The card fittings that Louët uses are made of galvanized steel wire. The high quality guarantees a long service life.

Extra Fine-10 x 10 cm also have the very fine batter (110 points per square inch).

Fine-19 x 10 cm are available in pairs. Standard with fine fittings (46 tpi = points per square inch).
