With a pure and natural feeling, plus a crisp stitch definition in every stitch, Blue Faced Leicester Wool is the perfect choice for sweaters, winter wear and home goods. This yarn is GOTS certified, and made from mulesing-free wool in Turkey.

Machine wash on cold and gentle cycle using a no-rinse wool wash, use a garment bag to reduce agitation and friction. Lay flat to dry.

 At the cooperatives in Uruguay countryside, the artisans first dye the colours to the merino top and then hand spin it on a spinning wheel.  This creates a delicate colour twirling effect that reminds us of the paper streamers (serpentinas)  thrown at the Carnival parties.
